Above And Beyond Award

"Above and Beyond" is one of several personal acknowledgments Senior Watch highlights during the year as part of the Bonus Program for Senior Watch Employees.

"Above and Beyond" is awarded to a Home Care Worker who has shown team spirit, kindness toward a fellow worker, client sensitivity, and leadership in meeting the goals we have set for senior care.

Going above and beyond the job task to provide a client - sensitive service on a daily basis meets the mission statement Senior Watch so proudly displays.

"Above and Beyond" Voting Criteria:

  • Deposit your ballot in the ballot box in our office outlining why you have nominated the person for this award.
  • You may vote as often as you wish. The person with the most votes wins.
  • Staff members who work in teams must be active participants during the six complete months prior to the meeting in which this award is being given.
  • Ballots can be rejected if not signed or you have not cited a reason for the nomination. Please list the client and the event that you feel a fellow staff team member is deserving of this award.
  • To qualify for this award staff must have completed their 6-month probation period and serve on one or more teams.

Staff Meeting Gift Draw

During the two staff meetings each year Senior Watch will hold a gift draw for those attending the meetings.

  • From the "Above and Beyond" Ballot Box we will remove the ballots of the winner for Above and Beyond leaving the remaining ballots for the draw.
  • Attendees at the meeting will be allowed to deposit one additional entry for the draw to be held at the end of the meeting. Attendees must be present to receive a gift. We will draw a new winner until all prizes are given out.
